Move from Klaviyo to Rasket.
Paste a read-only Klaviyo key, see exactly what we found and what it costs, and import. Profiles, lists, segments, templates, draft campaigns and past campaigns come over, and nothing is sent to anyone.
Paste a read-only key, review, import.
- 1
Paste a read-only key
In Rasket, open Audience → Import & migrate and pick Klaviyo. In Klaviyo, create a private API key under Settings → API keys with Read-only access, and paste it.
- 2
Review what we found
Lists, segments, templates and campaigns, counted, with what it costs on your plan. A large account shows its contacts as at least a number while the count finishes.
- 3
Import
Safe to close the tab. You get a report and a warm-up plan by email.
What comes over, exactly.
| In Klaviyo | In Rasket | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Profiles and custom properties | Contacts and properties | Properties match by name; new ones are created. |
| Unsubscribed, bounced and spam-complaint profiles | Suppressed | Always. They never get mail and never count on your plan. |
| Never-subscribed profiles | Unsubscribed contacts | They come over, but campaigns don't reach them until they subscribe. |
| Lists | Topics | Each list keeps its subscribed members. |
| Segments | Segments | A live rule where every condition maps; otherwise a fixed list of today's members, marked as one. |
| Templates | Templates | As HTML, with merge tags converted to Rasket variables. |
| Draft and scheduled email campaigns | Draft campaigns | Nothing is sent or scheduled for you. |
| Sent campaigns | Read-only archive | Sends, opens and clicks, and the email that went out. Klaviyo allows few report requests a day, so a large archive can finish the next day. |
| Flows | Paused automations | Flows started by a list or an event, with emails, waits and profile splits. Anything else is listed step by step for you to rebuild. |
| Opens and clicks | Warm-up plan | Each profile's latest open or click decides who goes first. |
Doesn’t come over: SMS, flows started by a segment, a date or a product, sign-up forms, and the drag-and-drop layout of templates (the HTML does). The report lists each form by name, and those flows step by step, so you can rebuild them.
Safe by default. We only read, and we never send.
Your key
A Klaviyo private key can be Read-only, and that is the one to make. It is stored encrypted while the migration runs and deleted when it finishes or you cancel. We never show it or write it to a log.
Warm-up
Nothing is sent when you migrate. The report that arrives by email has a warm-up plan: your recently engaged contacts first, the rest over the following weeks, so mailbox providers get to know your new sending domain.
What it costs
Every plan includes marketing contacts: 400 on Free, 2,500 on Pro and 11,000 on Scale. Unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts never count. You see the number and the price before anything is imported.
Straight answers.
What kind of Klaviyo key do I need?
A private API key with Read-only access. We check it can read each area when you paste it, and tell you which one is missing if not.
What about my Klaviyo flows?
Flows started by a list or an event come over as paused automations, with their emails as templates. The rest are listed in the report step by step, with a button that starts the rebuild for you.
Why does it say at least a number of contacts?
Klaviyo doesn't tell us a total, so on a large account we count as far as we can in a few seconds and show that as a floor. The import brings every profile.
Will my contacts get an email when I move?
No. A migration only brings data in. Drafts stay drafts, and nobody is emailed until you send a campaign yourself.
How much will it cost?
Every plan includes marketing contacts: 400 on Free, 2,500 on Pro and 11,000 on Scale. Unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts never count. You see the number and the price before anything is imported.
