Migrate from MailerLite

Move from MailerLite to Rasket.

Paste a MailerLite API token, see exactly what we found and what it costs, and import. Subscribers, groups, segments and campaigns come over in a few minutes, and nothing is sent to anyone.

Three steps

Paste a token, review, import.

  1. 1

    Paste an API token

In Rasket, open Audience → Import & migrate and pick MailerLite. In MailerLite, open Integrations → MailerLite API, generate a token and paste it.

  2. 2

    Review what we found

Subscribers, groups, segments and campaigns, counted, with what it costs on your plan.

  3. 3

    Import

MailerLite allows 120 requests a minute, so a large account takes a little longer. Safe to close the tab. You get a report by email.

What comes over, exactly.

What comes over from MailerLite, and what it becomes in Rasket
In MailerLiteIn RasketNotes
Subscribers and fieldsContacts and propertiesFields match by name, and dates are kept in a standard form.
Opens and clicksLast engaged dateRead from each subscriber's activity, so the warm-up plan starts with people who open.
Unsubscribed, bounced and spam-complaint subscribersSuppressedAlways. They never get mail and never count on your plan.
Unconfirmed subscribersUnsubscribed contactsThey never confirmed, so campaigns don't reach them.
GroupsTopicsEach group keeps its active members.
SegmentsSegmentsA fixed list of today's members, marked as one. MailerLite's API doesn't give the rules.
Draft and ready campaignsDraft campaignsMailerLite's API gives a campaign's text, not its design, so drafts arrive as text to restyle.
AutomationsPaused automationsA series started by joining a group comes over with its waits and emails, ready for you to write. Anything else is listed step by step for you to rebuild.
Sent campaignsRead-only archiveSends, opens and clicks for each past campaign.
FormsA list to rebuildRasket doesn't host forms yet, so the report names each one.

Doesn’t come over: Templates (MailerLite's API has none to read), the design of campaigns and automation emails, segment rules, automations started by anything but joining a group, and landing pages.

Before you start

Safe by default. We only read, and we never send.

Your key

MailerLite tokens have no scopes, so the token can do anything in your account. We only read with it. It is stored encrypted while the migration runs and deleted when it finishes or you cancel. We never show it or write it to a log. Delete it in MailerLite when you're done.

Warm-up

Nothing is sent when you migrate. The report that arrives by email has a warm-up plan: your recently engaged contacts first, the rest over the following weeks, so mailbox providers get to know your new sending domain.

What it costs

Every plan includes marketing contacts: 400 on Free, 2,500 on Pro and 11,000 on Scale. Unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts never count. You see the number and the price before anything is imported.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does it work with MailerLite Classic?

Not directly. Only the new MailerLite's API is supported. Move your account to the new MailerLite first, or upload an export file instead.

Why do my campaigns come over as text?

MailerLite's API returns a campaign's plain text and a preview, not its HTML. The draft keeps your words and audience; restyle it in Rasket's editor.

Will my contacts get an email when I move?

No. A migration only brings data in. Drafts stay drafts, and nobody is emailed until you send a campaign yourself.

How much will it cost?

Every plan includes marketing contacts: 400 on Free, 2,500 on Pro and 11,000 on Scale. Unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts never count. You see the number and the price before anything is imported.
